Alfredo sauce The other night we had company show up for supper. I love "Five Brother’s Alfredo Sauce" and usually have some in the pantry but, not that night. I took a stick of butter and melted it in a sauce pan, whisked in about ¼ cup of flour, poured in some milk and stirred over low heat until it began to get thick. Then I shreded some parmesan cheese in the food processor and dumped in about a cup and threw in some salt and pepper. Gosh, I don’t know how much of anything I put in but it sure was good. I served it over angel hair pasta and mushrooms that night and new potatoes and onions the next night. |
